DRIVING DIRECTIONS If you are arriving via car and have a GPS, please use 500 Burton Drive, Tavernier, Florida as the address. If you do not have a GPS device, you can find us from the mainland by taking the Florida Turnpike south to Exit 4 - Homestead/Key West. This is the Turnpike Extension that will connect you to Route US 1 in Florida City, which takes you through the Keys to Key West at the very end of US 1. Please be aware that speed limits throughout the Florida Keys are strictly enforced. Driving Route 1 to Key West is one of the most beautiful drives there so TAKE YOUR TIME. Please be especially careful through the Big Pine Key area as this is a Key Deer Refuge. Speed limits are reduced in this area. You can reach Ocean Pointe by following Route 1 south from Homestead, over the 20-mile causeway, past Key Largo and making a left onto Burton Drive at mile marker 92.5, just before the Circle K convenience store and Dairy Queen in the median. Ocean Pointe is approximately half mile down Burton drive on your right. GETTING HERE WITHOUT A CAR We understand that some of you will be traveling without a car. We would not recommend this, as there are many places to visit, and it could be significantly more expensive. Ride share apps such as Lyft and Uber are available in the area. KEYS SHUTTLE has daily scheduled departures to and from the Miami and Fort Lauderdale to all areas in the Keys. CAR PARKING Parking is provided for two cars on site and is easily accessible to the unit. Please be aware that all guests must be registered prior to coming. No commercial vehicles allowed overnight.
Notes
MARINA RESERVATIONS Please note that we do not manage the marina and cannot guarantee availability for boat dockage. You will have to contact the Dockmaster at Ocean Pointe, please contact Oasis Vacation Rentals for the Dockmaster email address. You will be required to submit a copy of the vessel insurance and registration along with the trailer registration and room confirmation. Please be sure to attach all required documents during your initial submission as failure to do so will delay our ability to process your request. Use the Ocean Pointe Marina Amenity Reservation form to submit your request and required documentation directly to the Ocean Pointe dock master. To ensure you are able to use the marina and facilities prior to submitting a request, please see the general rules below: Rules/Regulations/Restrictions: • All operators of vessels in the marina must have a copy of a current insurance declaration page indicating a minimum of $300,000 bodily liability and $100,000 property damage coverage on file with the dock master. • Owned or commercially rented vessels must be registered and insured or rented in the name of the owner or registered guest staying on the property. • Vessels must not exceed 28ft registered length. (Note: maximum beam 9’6”) • Jet Skis, Wave runners, Sea Doo's or other PWC are not allowed on property or in the marina at any time. BEACHES The Florida Keys isn’t really known for its vast beaches. We are a series of islands made up of coral rock. We do have some small beaches that are accessible but they are nothing like the beaches you will find on the west coast of Florida or the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area. The closest public beach is Anne’s Beach which is in south Islamorada. The best way to experience the Keys is to get out on the water. We have world class fishing, boating, diving, snorkeling, and kayaking!

HOUSE RULES:
* Minimum age of primary guest checking in must be 25
* NO Commercial Vehicles of any kind
* The resort does not allow wet towels to be hung over the outdoor railings
* Personal kayaks must be stored in or on your vehicle during your stay
* Shoes must be stowed in the suite, not outside
* CHILDREN JUMPING ON OUR BEDS, creates costly damage to our bed frames.
* REFRIGERATOR: Please do not turn the fridge to the coldest setting, it will freeze up and stop working. It can take up to 9 hours to chill room temp products.
* Quiet time 10:00pm to 8:00am.
* NO Unauthorized Guests
*NO Luggage carts inside the condo
* NO PETS - ESA and Service Animals must be registered/approved by property manager
* Pack and Play, High Chair available for rent
* NO SMOKING-$500 cleaning fee if evidence of smoke is discovered
HURRICANE/TROPICAL STORM CANCELLATION POLICY
NO refunds will be given UNLESS:
The National Weather Service orders a MANDATORY evacuation of the Florida Keys, including Key Largo, Florida falling into the "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area"
The day that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation order of the Florida Keys, including Key Largo, Florida falling into the "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area", we WILL refund as follows:
a. Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered and leaves early
b. Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten their stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted
c. Any advance deposits for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period
