Woodhaven Cabin! Sauna & Hot tub

You could really tell that Denise puts a lot of care into her place. It was the perfect honeymoon destination up in the mountains - quiet enough where it feels like you were in a remote location; but being less than 15 minutes to downtown made it everything easy peasy. Also very close access to the highway so it was easy to get anywhere we wanted. There were extremely clear instructions on how to use all of her amenities, and it was such a cozy cabin. If anybody spends time in Asheville, I highly suggest renting this cabin - you won’t ever want to leave! I give Denise 11 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place to get away and relax! very close to Downtown Asheville but felt secluded and private.

Denise’s cabin was the perfect spot for a needed getaway with my dog. She was such a welcoming host and when something at the cabin needed immediate attention, it was fixed within an hour. The cabin, which was well appointed for my stay, was in a base camp for trips to hiking spots around the area and the hot tub was a perfect end note to any day!

Perfect for a long weekend away! The cabin had everything we needed and we will definitely be back!

We LOVED our stay at Denise’s. The home is clean, cozy, and uniquely decorated. The electric fireplaces in both rooms created a romantic and peaceful environment. The wrap around porch has plenty of seating for two and was a favorite hangout spot for our dog. You feel like you’re in a tree house. We loved taking advantage of the hot tub and sauna each day. They were both well maintained. His and her robes were included which were a fun and useful addition. The washer and dryer were another great bonus. We were able to head home with clean laundry. The bed is comfortable and you have an awesome view of the tree line through the lofted windows while kicking back. While there are neighbors very near on both sides, you still feel a sense of privacy due to the trees that surround the home. Great location. . Downtown Asheville is less than ten min away. There’s a grocery store 5 min away. Denise was an absolute joy as a host. Kind, responsive, and funny. Can’t wait to go back. 100 stars!

My husband and I enjoyed this hidden gem! I enjoyed being able to look up through the top windows at the trees while laying in bed or lounging in the living area. The home is thoughtfully decorated and the fireplaces made it feel so cozy. The sauna was wonderful! The road up to the house is more like a one-way road so we were thankful we didn’t have to encounter anyone else on the road!

It was a Beautiful cabin. Just as pictured, clean and fully stocked.

Overall, we had a great stay. The cabin was perfect for us. The high ceilings made it feeling spacious. The hot tub and sauna allowed us to spend more time enjoying the outdoors. Great restaurants were 10 minutes away. We didn’t cook much but we had everything we needed. Denise was also available when we had questions.

Our honeymoon stay was awesome! Felt very private, beautiful fall leaves, and incredible location for under 10 minute access to everything in Asheville. Perfect balance of privacy/nature and good logistics. Also incredibly well stocked airbnb with everything we needed to cook multiple meals during our stay. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful place! The outdoor hot tub was simply wonderful as was the outdoor fire place. We never got to use the outdoor sauna but I’m sure it would have been amazing too. Such a lovely spot and the location was fantastic too- short 10 min drive to the downtown part of Asheville . Romantic, quiet and fun place to stay. Overall a great experience Bryce &Leslie

This house was all we needed and more. It’s cute and quaint in the middle of the woods but only 10 min to town. We saw a mama bear and her cubs everyday we were there which was so special. We would definitely come back!

Very cute little place and clearly a lot of thought put into details around the house to make it comfortable. Had everything we needed for kitchen and laundry and the place was very clean. We wanted some downtime so the quiet location with hot tub and sauna were perfect. Denise sent us everything we needed to know and checked in.

Amazing place to stay that is close to everything in Asheville. Denise was super responsive and had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed all of the houses’s amenities including the hot tub and sauna. She left clear directions for everything and check out was super easy! Have stayed in many cabins and other Airbnb's in Asheville and surrounding areas over the years and this stands out as one of our favorites. Very cozy, nice amenities, close to downtown/south slope, Highland Brewing and many great hiking trails on the east side of town. The host is very responsive and proactive, helped us successfully troubleshoot a minor wifi issue before we even brought it up with her. Would definitely like to stay here again.

We had an incredible 5 day stay here and would book again! The space was clean and cozy and the location is unbeatable — tucked into the mountainside, surrounded by forest, yet 10 minutes away from downtown Asheville. We loved starting our days drinking coffee on the deck (and watching the bears and turkeys!) before getting in the sauna (which is so nice to have if you’re hiking in the area). There are other houses nearby, but it was still so secluded and peaceful. Denise was also super sweet and communicated throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly.

Very well appointed rental with the hosts thinking of everything you may need in regards to appliances, toiletries and amenities. The place was very clean and very well decorated. The hot tub was great to relax in after hiking on the cools nights we had while there. The parking was the only downside and that seems worse at first but was fine. It’s just a pull off by a rock wall. We missed it the first time up and had to turnaround. We only saw one car go by while there so wasn’t an issue. Would without hesitation book again! Host is very responsive and wanted to make sure we had the best stay possible.

Great place tucked away in the woods. Lots of nature. Close proximity to downtown. The hot tub and sauna are an added bonus. Denise is a fantastic host, very responsive and checked in periodically as well. Would highly recommend Woodhaven Oasis.

Denise’s place was absolutely perfect for a couple’s romantic getaway. Modern decor and super clean. Sauna and hot tub were both modern and well kept. It was my wife’s birthday and Denise went above and beyond by placing flowers, wine and a birthday cookie! Communication was also spot on when we had questions. Super host and a super house!

This cozy cabin with sauna and hot tub was perfect for a mountain getaway. Great location close to downtown and other attractions. The host check-in to make sure everything was going well several times and was very responsive. Could not recommend this place more!

Literally so obsessed with this place, it was so nice, we immediately saw baby bears our first morning here and the hot tub and sauna after hiking was everything!!! We got to bring our sweet dog too, and it means everything to have that flexibility!

Denise’s cabin was amazing! It’s tucked away in the mountains but still accessible to everything in Asheville. The cabin is adorable, from the mountain knobs in the kitchen to the Sasquatch wallpaper in the bathroom. It also has all essentials you may need and more. One of the most well designed and thoughtful airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. I will absolutely stay here again!

Denise’s home was everything we were looking for—peaceful and private, yet close to the city. Downtown Asheville was just 5-10 minutes away, so very easy to get to all the awesome dining the city has to offer. The home was the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a rental. We had everything we needed. And the hot tub was great! While there are homes on either side, it was a VERY quiet street and usually all we heard was nature. Speaking of nature, expect to see a bear or two strolling by the property! We did every day, which was a lot of fun. Additionally, some great hikes within a 15-20 min drive. Looking forward to our next visit here!

My bf and I celebrated my birthday weekend here and could not be more impressed! It was private, but in a prime location only minutes to Downtown Asheville which is a must if you are visiting the area! The sauna and hot tub were such a nice touch along with the beautiful details in the cabin itself. We honestly felt like the photos did not do this place justice and exceeding our expectations! We will definitely be back again and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Asheville!
